Description
At BC Building Products we supply SOPRA-XPS 35 extruded polystyrene insulation board for SOPREMA protected membrane roofing systems. It is the board we would lay above the waterproofing membrane on an inverted roof, where the insulation sits on top of the membrane and the ballast or pavers go on top of the board.
The board is closed cell foam with shiplap or square edges on all four sides, so the joints stay tight and the board does not take on water. It is compliant with CAN/ULC S701.1, Type 4. The current formula has a GWP of 1 and the line carries up to 70 percent recycled and recovered content.
